I’m Allan Butler, a data scientist based in Austin, Texas. I build and deploy AI and machine-learning systems inside large organizations.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across statistics, data engineering, model training, deployment pipelines, and governance. My focus is practical: models that hold up in production and help teams make better decisions.
I earned my master’s degree from the University of Houston, where my research focused on demand forecasting and volatility modeling in secondary markets using ARCH/GARCH models.
I work primarily in Python, SQL, Spark, and R. I also enjoy public transportation, long walks to the fridge, and breaking complicated technical ideas into something useful.
